We’re so glad you’re considering The Academy at River Ridge for your child’s early learning experience. Our small, nurturing center serves children ages 2–5 in a warm, play-based environment where curiosity, confidence, and connection can grow.

Choosing childcare is a big decision, and we want the process to feel clear and supportive from the very beginning. Families are encouraged to schedule a tour, meet our team, and complete a registration form to reserve a spot on our waitlist if a space is not currently available.
Our center includes four classrooms and serves up to 54 children, allowing us to provide a more personal, relationship-centered experience for every child and family.
How to Get Started

Schedule a Tour
Come visit the center, see our classrooms, and ask any questions you may have.
Tours are scheduled Monday–Friday between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Complete the Registration Form
After your tour, you can complete the Children’s Registration Form with your child’s information, parent/guardian details, emergency contacts, medical information, and authorized pickup information.

Reserve Your Spot
If a classroom is currently full, completing the registration form helps reserve your child’s spot on the waitlist in case an opening becomes available
Programs by Age Group
The Academy at River Ridge accepts children ages 2–5 and offers classroom experiences designed to support each stage of early development.
2-2.5 Years
A caring first classroom experience focused on connection. routine, and early independence.
2.5-3 Years
Building social-emotional skills, communicaton, and confidence through play and exploration.
3-4 Years
Play-based learning that supports early literacy math, creativity, and problem-solving.
4-5 Years
On My Way Pre-K
School-readiness skills that prepare children to kindergarten and beyond.
Curriculum
Play-Based Learning with Purpose
From August through May, our classrooms follow a school-style rhythm using Teaching Strategies’ Creative Curriculum, a research-based curriculum designed for children from birth through age 8. Learning experiences support social-emotional development, language, cognitive growth, literacy, mathematics, social studies, and the arts.
During the summer months of June and July, the program shifts into more of a childcare rhythm, as many children and staff take vacations during that time.
Child Assessments
Families receive two parent-teacher conferences each year, one in the fall and one in the spring, to review each child’s progress across key learning areas
Tuition & Fees
Tuition is billed weekly. Part-time care is available for 1–2 days per week, and before/after care may be added for an additional weekly fee.

Additional Fees
Annual Supply Fee: $150 per child, charged once per school term.
Before Care: 7:30 AM–8:00 AM, $15 weekly.
After Care: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM, $30 weekly.
Small note: The Academy at River Ridge also accepts established CCDF-RVR families.

Do you offer part-time care?
Yes. Part-time care is available for 1–2 days per week, with rates based on your child’s classroom age group.
